i’m a little scattered today.
The baby is beautiful, and i don’t have a blog name for her yet, but am working on it.
And i don’t have a real blog post for today. i wanted to talk about what Wordwytch said a few comments ago. She said that she and Wolf had been talking about the whole “being broken” concept. They said:
The Dom is in charge of the scene and the sub is in charge of the relationship.
i think that’s real interesting, and Sir and i were chatting about it this morning ~ when we weren’t busy agreeing that the baby {my granddaughter, you know} is probably the most amazing, beautiful baby on earth.
And i’m pretty sure i’ve got more to say about it, but not today, not now. Um, more about what Wordwytch said, not about how beautiful my granddaughter is. Although, actually, i probably have more to say about that too!
i’m a little scattered today. Sorry…
But if youall want to start the discussion ~ on either topic ~ go for it. i’ll be back tomorrow.
You’re not scattered, you’re a grandmama! Of course you have more to say.. the darling baby is BEAUTIFUL and will only get more so as the days go by. ENJOY!
As far as who is in charge of what.. I’ll leave that to wiser heads. I think it varies with each relationship~
have fun with that new baby!
Thanks Nancy! Wise words…
Off to have more baby fun in just a minute here!
If you weren’t scattered 2 days after becoming a Grandma for the first time, then I would think something was wrong! Lots of emotions flying around I am sure. Just enjoy the day and your precious grand-baby!
I am not sure I agree with the statement and like Nancy says it varies- but for my relationship, Master is clearly in charge of it and of me. Maybe its because M/s is secondary to who we are and what our relationship is and is something we do but it does not define us?
Anyway- I sure do enjoy reading everyone’s comments even if it doesn’t always apply- that is the beauty of it. There is no right or wrong.

Thanks, Faithful,
It is really emotional and i am, working on enjoying every last minute!
There is still something about the statement that resonates with me, but i dont’ have the leisure or the space in my brain to contemplate it right now, have to put it on hold.
And i love discussion.

The most beautiful baby needs a name that means beautiful. How about Bella?
Congratulations aisha, to all of you.
Thank you, Monkey! That’s a great suggestion ~ and i’m still pondering…
Thanks!!
Perfectly normal to be scattered, esp when you are looking straight into Bliss at the most beautiful baby girl in the world. Yep. i think Bella, btw, is a wonderful choice. Did you get to pick the middle name? i did for both boys. (Cullen means “most handsome” so clearly i was sure i had the most beautiful nephew in the world). 🙂 i’m so excited for you and so happy for the baby. Have you spoken Italian to her yet? Its never too early. 😛
Thanks, Jade. She is gorgeous, isn’t she? {Smiling…}
No, i did NOT get to pick the middle name. Didn’t even get veto power. i guess this is what happens when you raise kids that are all independent…
Cullen is a lovely name!
And i have spoken Italian to her, of course! Had to! And will continue to. Both her parents speak Spanish fluently, so maybe i can confuse her a little. 🙂
hugs,
aisha
You’ve got a great reason to feel scattered! Enjoy it!
Thanks, Mouse! I will!
CLAPS!! Hurray I’m so ooo oooo happy for you!! sorry i missed the earlier post about it being a girl. swamped with work.
Thanks, FA! Appreciate the warm wishes… Hope things are easing up for you!
baby names? Joy, Bliss, Belle, Bella
Hmmmm. Yeah, maybe.
{Thinking, thinking, thinking…}
Thanks, Sin!
As a first time grandma, you have every right to be scattered, blitzed, etc. And you deserve a teeshirt that says… “Sexy Grandma!” I have grandbaby #9 due in late November. I still get twitterpated.
Looking forward to the discussion.
Thanks, Wordwytch,
i think you’re right about the t-shirt! That would be great!
Grandbaby # 9! I”m impressed! How cool!
And yes, if i ever get brain space, the discussion is on!
hugs,
aisha
My mom had the teeshirt originally. 🙂 She wore it until it literally was in tatters. She also did her best to teach all 6 of her grandsons… “My Nana is Sexy!”. 🙂 I have been carrying on the tradition. 🙂
