Don’t worry, it only seems kinky the first time. ~Author Unknown
Another quote that didn’t make my facebook page… Do youall think it’s true?
i wonder sometimes if all the excitement and thrill will eventually wear off. I mean, even purely vanilla sex is exciting at first, right? That first kiss. The first time some callow teenage boy’s hand slips under your shirt. Whew. Feeling his excitement and uncertainty, his confidence increasing as he manages to unhook your bra.
i still remember sitting in a movie theatre making out – what a rush. The first time i felt His hand brush my pussy, sliding over panties that were already wet from the 20 minutes he just spent playing with my nipples. Ahhhhh.
The look on his face the first time i touched his skin, letting my hand trail over his chest. And even better, that first moment when he realized that yes, i was really going to do that, put my mouth there – on his young, rock hard, pulsating cock! It makes me smile now to remember.
Eventually, that all becomes mundane. We start looking for new ways to thrill and be thrilled. Now i want floggers and yardsticks, hitachis and dildoes. Going farther and farther into the shadows, exploring darkness, uncovering shining rays of light.
And maybe the basic desire is the same. To be seen. To be known. To be accepted. i don’t think that ever gets old. It just doesn’t seem kinky anymore.
Fortunately, the potential variations seem to exceed the time available to us. We all seem to e pressing the edge of the boundries we have have set (or been set for us) for those variations of experiences that get us going in that first time kind of way… we did a bit of that last night, as you will see from my after action report.
Hope you have a good weekend, even without Sir D.
Mick
hmmmm….yes, that first time is fraught with excitement. But each time i am with Sir…it’s still exciting. Tho it’s been a year filled with teasing and conversation, we’ve only been together physically a handful of times…
i never fail to get butterflies in my tummy, as i texted subsister sin while sitting in the lobby waiting his call to come up to the room.
as she said, that’s all part of it, that thrill of nerves. And its the same for me, anytime D2 calls for me, texts…my heartrate increases as well.
i wonder if it’s ever going to become…mundane for me. i’m older, and this is a newly discovered “light” in my own darkness. A light i want to explore and have fun with, to the fullest extent.
7 years of no sex is certainly a factor as well..
another insightful post, aisha.

Hey, nilla – I’m glad to hear that – very hopeful… I know what you mean about the newly discovered light – and no doubt, 7 years without sex would give you a good place to start from!!
@snow – Loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Aisha: Here is a musical selection that addresses this question of whether one can get bored with these kins: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mf33LcIe1A
That’s great, Mick. Thanks.
I think you’re right about the variety of possibilities… And out of all of us, you and your Mistress would know!!

hi aisha,
i’m showing up as my “snow” persona (i have several blogs that i write at besides nilla, and got outed via snow, so that is the only other one i publicly acknowlege is mine)
anyway, this convo inspired a short piece of flash fiction (thanks to Erotic Writer, MOnocle and HIS 100 words of flash fiction for getting me thinking of this)…
i hope you like it! Thanks for the inspiration thought!

I am a firm believer that when both parties involved in the relationship are committed to keeping it exciting, it can’t become mundane. I’ve been with Daddy for almost a year, and we’ve visited each other 5 weeks during the year. But every single time we see each other, it is incredible and even after spending several days with each other 24/7, literally, there is no lessening of that, no calming of the intensity.
We BOTH are very committed to making sure it is fun, exciting, passionate and that we are priority in each others lives as much as possible. I used to be afraid of that lessening of excitement or butterflies, but not anymore. 🙂
@prima – Yes, i know you’re probably right. particularly since you’re both committed to working at it. That’s good – it makes me happy for you!
